On May 14, 1960, the ISH was held for the first time in Frankfurt. At that time, the fair was called “Special Exhibition of Sanitary and Heating Technology”. Already in the first year, 520 companies proved their expertise, with over 60 even from abroad. According to industry media, the ISH has thus made a lasting contribution to the creation of a European (sanitary) market.
Even today, the ISH is still one of the most important trade fairs in the world for plumbing, heating and air conditioning technology. For decades, Benkiser has been showcasing innovations and tried and true products in Frankfurt. We can safely say that the Benkiser brand always stays up-to-date. Looking back, we can draw on consistently good experiences, which is why we have once again chosen the ISH this year.
